Core-Tex™

The environment created by the Core-Tex™ is ideal for creating soft tissue mobility and extensibility.  This is what we refer to as “usable” flexibility.

Position the user strategically and you can use the motion of the Core-Tex™ to guide the body part in the direction that creates length or the sense of stretch.  Here’s what makes it AWESOME-because the Core-Tex moves unrestricted in all planes of motion, as the platform is creating the tissue length, the nervous system is regulating the degree of stretch.

This is referred to lengthening under load and how we build resiliency into our soft tissue to prevent injury and improve performance.

Guaranteed to put a smile on your client or athlete’s faces. Extremely interactive and engaging while providing an unbelievable anaerobic energy demand. Add to your H.I.I.T or Tabata workouts.
By biasing the Core-Tex platform, you can create desired change at the hip, knee and subtalar joint.
You need to keep the rhythm to keep the speed. Reactive variability at its finest.
One of the best in the business, Chuck Wolf of Human Motion Associates talks about how he uses the Core-Tex with both the rehab and performance populations.

The American Council on Exercise sent over exercise physiologist Pete McCall  to Function First to learn first hand what the Core-Tex™ has to offer.  Watch Pete and Core-Tex inventor Anthony Carey go through some of the benefits of the Core-Tex™ and multi-dimensional reactive training.

You may think so, but the answer is “no”.  The motion of the Core-Tex is patented and nothing else moves this way.  Imagine the reactive variability that the motion you see in this slow motion video is creating to improve function and performance.  So many benefits with so many options that best serve the client, patient or athlete.  Stand, sit, kneel, lay, hands on, feet on and side lying to get you started.  Then program the motion based on your objectives:

 ·         Emphasize one plane

·         React in all planes

·         Control the motion

·         Take advantage of 360 degrees of rotation

·         Maximize speed for metabolic benefits

·         Rhythmically oscillate for unbelievable mobility gains

·         And the list goes on…..

The Core-Tex™ has applications to people of all levels and abilities. It is often thought that a senior patient or client would not do well with the Core-Tex™.  The experience that we have had is with just a brief orientation and understanding of the range the platform moves, seniors do very well and are extremely enthusiastic about the benefits they receive from working on the Core-Tex™.

Watch two examples of clients working in the most challenging position on the Core-Tex™standing.

Part II of a full body mobility utilizing the patented motion of the Core-Tex  to maximize myofascial mobility with neurological activity necessary to dictate and control the motion.
We all know stretching and creating mobility does not sell as “sexy”. But there is no denying the role it plays in moving better, more comfortably and preparing for activity. The unique motion of the Core-Tex™ provides a completely different experience to improving mobility.
The motion of the Core-Tex™ encourages and guides the body into positions that address the tissue 3 dimensionally with ease. The mobility exercises with the Core-Tex™ are its “secret weapon” and one of the favorite applications of Core-Tex™ users.
