Core-Tex™

This 30 second combo of mountain climbers, push-ups and wrestler spins is a great way to keep members and coaches engaged and challenges the decision making and neuromuscular reaction of the participants.  Try it and see how fast the heart rate climbs!

A traditional yoga flow can be progressed by using the Core-Tex platform to introduce some reactive variability to the body. Using the handrail for added stability-the tilt, slide and translation of Core-Tex can create an entirely novel user experience.

By introducing the transverse plane alone to these moves, the body's muscles, joints and righting reflexes are challenged in ways unique to the Core-Tex experience.
This is another great example of how the environment created by Core-Tex can be applied to an incredible number of fitness and rehabilitative objectives.
Take this familiar arm position we use on the wall to mobilize the thoracic spine, add the patented motion of Core-Tex and you have a very unique and effective way to enhance scapular motion.  This is also a great move to help mobilize the tissue inferior to the posterior shoulder joint.

Here are four moves that you can do only with Core-Tex that can lengthen and load the soft tissue around the groin to rehab or prehab that area. Create the pre-stretch, and then introduce the multiple vectors that challenge and prepare the tissue for unpredictable stresses.

Allow the Core-Tex to guide your patient or athlete to what their tissue needs.  Teach them to do and free up your time!

Using the new Core-Tex Dual, we demonstrate how you can access lateral spinal flexion using the motion of the Core-Tex and the anchor options for the hands on both sides of the platform. The supine, unloaded position and reactivity of the platform allow you to access different segments of the spine during motion.

Choose to keep the motion dynamic, or hold for longer intervals with the upper body anchored and drive the motion to the same side repeatedly by driving rotation with the legs.

Try some of these demanding metabolic Core-Tex drills to your workout and see how adding some reactive training can provide an entirely new dimension to your training.
This is an amazing glute training exercise.  This move targets the posterior hip in a completely different way with an emphasis on the actions of the glutes neglected by most traditional exercises.  The patented motion of Core-Tex provides the environment to challenge these frontal and transverse plane motions while introducing a positive stress to the knee joint.
In this concise video, Core-Tex inventor Anthony Carey shares why reactive training and reactive variability is a critical component of movement training for people of all levels and abilities.
In honor of the 22 Kill Project bringing awareness to the crisis of military veterans committing suicide.  George-Anthony Dulal-Whiteway, a 9 year active Marine and former Drill Sargent demonstrates 22 push-up variations using the Core-Tex.
Use this incredible shoulder exercise for rehab or for warming-up your shoulders for throwing, hitting, tennis, golf, etc.  We take the well known D2 PNF pattern and use it vertically with the rotational aspect of the Core-Tex.  This is one of the most effective shoulder exercises you will ever do.
Here is a great example of taking a "known" exercise-the side plank, and making it better.  By adding the motion available with the Core-Tex, the variability adds to what the nervous system must adapt to and how the body can dissipate stress across more structures.
