Core-Tex™

The lateral myofascial line/chain/train consists of muscles and tissue that are primarily in the frontal plane but have functions in the other planes as well. Using the transverse plane motion of Core-Tex, we take advantage of the transverse plane AND other vectors using the patented motion of Core-Tex to create mobility in this tissue from top to bottom.
This is a great mobility warm-up that hits the body 3 dimensionally, primes the nervous system and gets the heart rate and circulation going. Try this before your next workout as it preps you from top to bottom and experience Reactive Training!
By dictating the user position on the platform, you can target specific motions of the lumber spine and the lower thoracic spine that will improve motion and stability.  These lower threshold moves are excellent for the patient or athlete currently experiencing lower back pain.  The subtle, fluid motions of the platform can reduce the threat and encourage safe motion. The user can perform completely independently of the therapist or trainer, allowing for ongoing motor learning and movement confidence.
A traditional yoga flow can be progressed by using the Core-Tex platform to introduce some reactive variability to the body. Using the handrail for added stability-the tilt, slide and translation of Core-Tex can create an entirely novel user experience.

By introducing the transverse plane alone to these moves, the body's muscles, joints and righting reflexes are challenged in ways unique to the Core-Tex experience.
This is another great example of how the environment created by Core-Tex can be applied to an incredible number of fitness and rehabilitative objectives.
