Core-Tex™

The demands of basketball are diverse.  Outside of pure technical skills, the need for quick feet and change of direction in a crowd of people is an ongoing part of the game.  The ability to hold your ground when force is applied to your arms and upper body places a huge demand on the vertical core as well.

Core-Tex inventor, Anthony Carey shakes off some of the rust from his playing days to demonstrate some basketball specific conditioning work that can also be a great part of any small group or private training session.

A TBT blog post brings you Aaron Cook, former number one in the world in Taekwondo.  If you ever wanted to see how an elite martial artist trains, take a look here.

Aaron requested a Core-Tex for his training at Master Patrice Remarck's world renown training center after training extensively with the Core-Tex and strength Coach Mike Clegg in Manchester, England.

Aaron is training on the original Core-Tex.

Sharing how Core-Tex creates multiple options for your functional rack. This week we are using the functional Life Fitness Synrgy360 for a full body workout.

Place Core-Tex inside your rack system and open up hundreds of programming possibilities that keep your members/clients fully engaged and challenged with fresh exercises.

An exercise environment that moves in the transverse plane is a game changer. Use these 5 exercises to spice up any workout combining core work, strength and metabolic demand.

This is a blast from the past.  Derrick Price, our first Core-Tex Master Trainer, international educator and industry leader shares with you 25 plank variations and progressions using the original Core-Tex.

Take the tired old plank and see how adding reactive variability using the Core-Tex motion changes the game.

Derrick takes you through multiple levels with the help of his clients of varying abilities. Core-Tex core work can go from remedial to the most advanced all the while challenging the neuromusculoskeletal system with variability not created with any other environment.

This 30 second combo of mountain climbers, push-ups and wrestler spins is a great way to keep members and coaches engaged and challenges the decision making and neuromuscular reaction of the participants.  Try it and see how fast the heart rate climbs!
